Lindelwa Ndlela
Uyabizwa means "You are being called" — by the land, the ocean, the mountains, the wind. My name is Lindelwa Ndlela, a daughter of the amaXhosa people soul who finally answered that call. I was born and bred in a small town called Matatiele, quiet as small town nestled in the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa — where the air is crisp, the land is wide, and the pace of life is still led by nature. Growing up in South Africa, I was surrounded by beauty I didn’t always see. Like many, I thought travel was for the rich, or for tourists. I didn’t know the sound of the forest in the early morning, or how to book a flight or a cruise. I didn’t know that adventure could start just outside my doorstep. This blog is for the curious souls who feel that quiet pull — to explore, to feel, to breathe, to discover. Uyabizwa is here to help you travel meaningfully, affordably, and spiritually — whether you’re a local who’s never traveled, or a visitor seeking the heart of South Africa. Let’s walk the path less known. Let’s answer the call. Sabela!
